My own personal experience with Bipolar. It's not just black and white and feeling up and then down. Your thoughts get changed with it too.
One week it can be all happiness and rainbows and you don't really know what you are doing.
The next everything seems grim and you pay too much attention to the bad things in the world.
Also I can't do cartwheels. My manic said just wants me to do them whenever I'm like that.

Ugh i know exactly what you mean... I hate it 
I'm mixed bipolar so it changes like 7-10 times a day usually >< My lithium had stabilized me for a couple months, but in the wrong place, the bad place.. so my doctor took off some lithium and now i'm up and down like crazy and i really can't take it.. I hate taking all this stupid medication. Sorry for blabbing. I really do love this drawing though. I think many people will be able to relate to it. Keep making art (:
